SMART TECHNOLOGY
The Narwhal Series buoy adopts advanced manufacturing technology and processes, utilizing linear low-density polyethylene materials in the buoyancy body and visibility components, fully leveraging the excellent properties of the material. The product structure is designed to be reasonable, sturdy, and durable, with an aesthetically pleasing appearance and excellent visual effects, enhancing navigation performance and providing strong support for the safety of vessel navigation.
FEATURES
The Narwhal-120B Buoy is primarily composed of a 316L stainless steel framework and a rotationally molded main module. The buoy features a streamlined structure design, with no fastening bolts on the exterior of the buoyant body, achieving a 360° smooth transition. This design provides excellent ice guiding and visual performance, effectively reducing damage during vessel impacts and facilitating easier maintenance. It is a high-performance, low maintenance all-season light buoy.
The main frame material is 316L stainless steel, which has good corrosion resistance in marine fog and seawater containing a large amount of salt, making it suitable for use under harsh conditions.
The rotational molding components are made of linear low-density polyethylene, and the color of the finished product complies with the industry standards of the IALA Association. After undergoing a 20,000-hour UV Rating test according to ASTM 2565, its color value remains within the IALA standard range.
The internal filling material of the buoy is a two-component polyurethane, which has a closed-cell rate greater than 90%, ensuring that the buoy will not sink due to water absorption of the filling material after damage, thereby maintaining navigation safety.
The modular design features reinforcement in key areas ensured by structural design and advanced manufacturing processes. When a module is damaged, it can be replaced on-site quickly and easily.
The rotationally molded materials come in color without the need for painting, and the buoy production process is environmentally friendly and pollution-free. The overall materials of the buoy are efficient, eco-friendly, and recyclable.
The buoy integrates Tenyn Ocean’s high-strength LED navigation light, a large-capacity lithium battery, and embedded solar panels, allowing for long-term continuous operation. In ports that freeze during winter, there is no need for seasonal buoy replacement operations.
